Jill Darden is an award-winning journalist, author and publisher. Along with a passion for informing and inspiring others, she is a woman of faith, blessed with the gift of Encouragement and the Word of Wisdom. Jill shares her faith with the public in a weekly podcast called On the Spiritual Side. She released a book by the same title, which includes 52 uplifting messages for life’s journey. 

The Fort Worth native earned a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Texas at Arlington and has been honored with numerous awards. However, she feels one of her greatest accomplishments is being the mother of her teenage son, Jiles, who is also an author of four  motivational books for his children.

Jill credits her mother for introducing her to the Christian journey, who served as an evangelist and missionary for many years. At the young age of 10, the author brought her first message during a church service, "When God Tells You to Do Something - You Better Do It".
